Marine salvage contract broward county Sheriff

www.Drtowing.com

Downrite Marine Towing Fort Lauderdale is making big strides to expand and win contracts in the marine towing and salvage business.

For two years now along with just starting the third year on October 1st 2012. Downrite Marine has been Broward County Sheriff's go to contractor for the removal of derelict vessels that get left or walked away from by owners in our local waterways. This possible after Downrite being awarded the Derelict Removal Contract for Broward county.
Downrite Marine has been able to remove over 20 vessels from our local waterways here in sunny South Floirda;Broward County. ( Port Everglades area.)

This is our Flag ship Downrite "Titan" Unit 4 in action day one of the green light to go to work. The vessel was partially submerged before this picture was taken.
NOTICE: The left side of the picture is a Broward County Sheriff's vessel watching to see if their new contractor for the next three year term knew what they were doing.
Well after two years of removing over 20 vessel's from our waterway's we like to think the Sheriff's pretty happy.
The money to remove these abandoned vessel's comes from a federal grant fund. These money's come from registration fee's when you get your vessel registration sticker in the state of Florida. The sum is on or around $2.00 - $3.00 from anyone who wants to register a boat.
These money's are then used to fund projects such as dock's,sea walls and derelict removal projects.

Here are some that have been removed, pictures below.
One picture is Downrite moving it on the water, the next picture is the vessel at the dump.
Some are one picture.
