Saturday 4~16~2011 Sailing Vessel " Fast Lane" Owner Mr. Lane Loses the small inflatable off the back of the sailing vessel.NO idea how or when it happened, Down rite "Titan" Finds the boat turned over Outside Port Everglades. Down rite Marine Towing as a full service marine service facility , " The owner asks can I store it with you for 2 weeks and have the motor repaired, & Downrite Says " " YES " Service From Down rite Towing.

Thanks to our fast response to the vessel PRO SEA.Downrite Marine Towing saved the vessel PRO SEA located along the new river in Fort Lauderdale as she was taking on water. Had someone not noticed the sea ray sinking and called the owner it would have been a sunken vessel. Downrite Marine responded by Truck because even tho we are located in Port Everglades It was still a very long trip by boat to the North Fork of the New River. (estimate 35-40 min. / by truck 15 min ). By sending the truck we saved the vessel from sinking.

ReplyDeleteToday : Downrite Towing Vessel "Titan" completed a small disabled vessel tow in the New River Fort Lauderdale area today also,
We just completed our regular full service on our Twin Yamaha 300's light cleaning and sending her back to her next job On the New River.
Downrite Towing Zodiac unit #3 will come in to the yard for her full service to be ready for towing for the removal of our Derelict Sailboats to be removed per Broward County Sheriff contract. We will pull our boom containment system Located by Port Everglades down Dania Cut off canal located in Dania Beach to our job site by I-595. We also have oil pads and oil boom for these next two.Downrite Marine will use a long reach trackhoe / or excavator to lift them onto barge in whole or part.We will remove another 2 junk boats from our water ways very soon with a Total of 11 boats this year threw private or contract removal.
We will also remove one boat that sunk after catching on fire from the Miami Key Biscayne area next week.

Downrite Marine towing has removed more vessels for the Broward County Sheriff. Downrite Marine will plan to remove a barge for wreck removal purpose for the Sheriff. This Barge is sunk in about 3 feet of water located on the intercostal water way south of Sheridan street. This vessel will be removed on the 2013 budget. www.4towboat.com

ReplyDeleteDownrite has now added two new response trailers.One of these trailers will be for oil spill response.With this trailer holding oil pads and oil boom Downrite will be able to handle spill response from large to small spills.Also with Downrite teaming up with a land based fuel response company we can now have a full line of oil response with a vac. truck in place for large spills.
